Happy New Year!!!

Hi, everyone! I just came back from Taiwan yesterday afternoon. It was great fun touring the country. The Taiwanese guide, who was close to 60 years old, was fantastic! He had more than thirty years of guide experience. He took us to various parts of the country. Let me sort out the things first before giving you a more detailed account (if I have time). Hehe!

A Changing World!

Nowadays, a lot of reports on contaminated food and food stuffs containing cancer-causing ingredients. Recently, the shocking news of Prima Deli, a famous local bakery, producing cakes that were tainted with a virus known as salmonella. I guess we have been taking food safety too lightly, not just in Singapore, but in other countries as well.

There are also other reports on toys that are made from poisonous materials, food made from tainted raw materials, etc. China has long had the worst reputation of producing tainted toys and food stuffs. Surprisingly, some tainted food, such as the recent tainted potato chips, was from America. I wonder if that was some kind of conspiracy as the test was conducted in China.
